Fitting Instructions

- Your Knightrider Scanner Lights can be fitted in two ways. As shown in Picture 1 above and below one another to create the traditional Kitt look or as shown in Picture 2 in-line for the modern Kitt look.

- The two fixing brackets can be screwed to the scanner lights as shown in Pictures 1 and 2. The holes are pre made in the scanner so you can simply line up the holes and brackets and tightly secure the two components together. The brackets can then be bent to match the surface you are fitting to. Four sticky pads are also included to aid fitting.

- Once fitted where you wish to your car the lights need to be powered. A 12V positive source and a good earth is needed to power the lights. The white wire needs to be connected to a 12v positive source and the black an earth. These wires can be connected to the battery or any other available power source.

- If you wish to install a switch in the circuit we have included the components needed. Simply cut the white wire where you wish to install the switch, strip 1cm of each wire then push the spade connector over the end of the wire, pliers can then be used to fasten the connectors to the wire.

- The two spade connectors can then be connected to the terminals on the switch.
